Sample Letter to the Graduates

March 29th, 2009  |  Published in Miscellaneous Letters

Bataan Heroes Memorial College
Balanga City, Bataan

March 28, 2008

Dear Graduates:

Are you standing on the threshold of a new chapter in your life, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

In today’s uncertain world – which will surely put to test the knowledge and skills you acquired in school, I cannot tell you what your destiny will be.  I am however confident, that with the education and training you received from your Alma Mater, you will surely find your place under the sun, no matter where the winds of fate bring you.

It is my fondest hope, that as you embark on your quest for a meaningful existence, you will not for a moment forget the social, moral, and spiritual values that we inculcated in you, for life, without these values is meaningless.

So then with God’s blessings, make your Alma Mater proud of you by seeking and finding how to serve your fellow beings.

Farewell, Godspeed and until we meet again.  May the Almighty hold you in the palm of His hand.

Dr. Laureana S. Rosales

March 16th, 2009  |  Published in Miscellaneous Letters

March 16, 2009

Dear Technical Writing Students,

The writing of your project proposal will be based on the outline.  This will be monitored since your outline will be submitted together with the project proposal.

In writing the body of the proposal, please be reminded that you will write its sections in paragraphs except for the work plan and technical justification.

General objectives must be written in paragraph while the specific objectives prior to their enumeration must be introduced by a stem.  Say for instance:

Model Stem:
This proposal has the following specific purposes:

You must discuss all of the enlisted activities in Strategies/Methodologies section from planning stage to its implementation.  Implementation segment must be elaborated, thus, multiple paragraphs citing the ways on how you will implement your plan are expected.  You could also base your discussion to the plotted activities in your work plan and technical justification.

Include a space for your printed name and signature below the technical justification section.

Use a short bond paper substance 20.  The alignment for paragraph must be justified and each first sentence line must be indented.  Apply any of the enlisted fonts: Arial, Garamond, and Times New Roman and its size must be 12.  Insert your paper in a short flesh paper folder.

Submission of the project proposal is on March 19, 2009, Thursday at 10:30 am.

Those who will not comply will receive an automatic incomplete grade, thus, you must meet the deadly deadline.

Ms. Joanna Marie Lamira will be in charge of the collection of the paper.

Have a great summer vacation.

Refinance Mortgage Loan Sample Letter

March 7th, 2009  |  Published in Miscellaneous Letters

September 25, 2001

Ms. Linda Sioson
Account Manager
Bright Shine Lending Inc.
San Fernando, Pampanga

RE: Account number 1245748

Dear Ms. Sioson:

I am writing this letter to inform you of my recent financial hardship.

Last month, my company downsized and I was laid off.  I was out of work for one month, and have since found a new job. However, I now make P20,000.00 less than per month than I did with my old job. Therefore, I can no longer continue making mortgage payments in the amount of P15,000.00 per month.

I enclosed spreadsheet of my monthly expenses and the copies of financial documents. I am sending these to show that I am certainly experiencing financial hardship. All documents attached are true and accurate to the best of my knowledge.

As of now, I am searching for a way to get back on my feet. If I can have a refinance mortgage or any option that involved payments of no more than P10,000.00 per month, I know I will be able to afford.

I believe that my situation is temporary and soon I will be able to start making full payments again.

Your consideration is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Request Letter – Mortgage Loan Payment Plan

February 20th, 2009  |  Published in Miscellaneous Letters

April 16, 2000

Mr. Arnold Jones
Credit Manager
ABC Collection Agency

Dear Mr. Jones:

I am writing to inform you that I am presently going through some financial difficulties and fear that I will not be able to meet my monthly payments to you. Three years ago when I bought my dream home, my family were happy to be living in Ontario, and everything was going well.

My wife is suffering illness which I was burden with medical bills not covered by my insurance and we are spending an addition $2,000 per month on prescription that we did not anticipate. With additional unexpected expenses, I am simply looking for a means to work this out and keep my home.

At present, we can afford to keep our home and make the payments but with an additional $470 per month once the payment adjusts, we will be unable to meet all of our monthly payments.

Any suggestion will be appreciated to work out a payment plan that is mutually beneficial to all of us. I hope for your kind consideration.

Very truly yours,

Juan de Guzman
