Ms. Lordelyn Santiago
Manager
Freeport Corporation

Dear Ms. Santiago:
As the price of shirt has been stabilized for so long, we appreciate your feeling about the invoice referred to in your letter of February 14.
About three weeks ago, we sent a form letter to all our customers, telling them that because of the rise in the price of clothing materials and labor, we – like other manufacturers – were forced to increase our price five percent.
Your order came after the announcement, and we billed the goods accordingly. We should like to give you the benefit of the old figure, but it had always been our policy to quote one price to all customers. It would not be fair to you if we give a competitor of yours the advantage of a lower price, nor would it be fair to him to do that for you.
We feel sure that you will agree with us when you look at the matter from this standpoint. We want to satisfy our customers, but we must be fair to everyone.
Respectfully yours,
Micky Castro

Mr. Israel Antonio
Chocolate Village
Pasig City
Dear Mr. Antonio:
We appreciate the spirit in which you wrote to us yesterday. We are glad to give you our understanding of the situation
With your experience as a builder, you recognize that the building for which we are furnishing you material is very unusual in many respects.
From the beginning, the architect has wanted his plans carried out to the letter, and even in our small part of the work, it has sometimes been difficult to meet his wishes.
The material which you wish to return was made in accordance with the specifications and drawings handed to us by the architect. It is of special design and we cannot put it into our regular stock, nor do we know where we could dispose of it.
Under these circumstances, you will understand our not being able to accept the return of the material.
Sincerely yours,
Ronnel Ramos
